<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily perform the position control of a step stand regardless of a traveling speed. <P>SOLUTION: This carrying device 10 is constituted of the step stand 11, a first motor 14 and a second motor 15 provided on the step stand 11, a first wheel 12 coupled with an axle 16 having a rotary shaft of the first motor 14 as the rotation center of a wheel and a second wheel 13 coupled with an axle 17 having a rotary shaft of the second motor 15 as the rotation center of a wheel via a gear box 50, and a non-illustrated traveling control part and a battery.
