PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner easy in inspection and cleaning of a filter. SOLUTION: This air conditioner has an exhaust fan for exhausting indoor air outside by sucking in the indoor air, an air supply fan for supplying outside air to respective rooms by sucking in the outside air from the outside, a motor for rotatably driving both fans, an indoor air filter 61 for filtering the indoor air sucked in the exhaust fan, an outside air filter 60 for filtering outside air sucked in the air supply fan, a heat exchange element 12 for exchanging heat between the filtered indoor air and the outside air, a case for housing the exhaust fan, the air supply fan, a driving part, the indoor air filter 61, the outside air filter 60, and the heat exchange element 12, and a cover body 16 for covering an opening part of the case. In the air conditioner, inserting holes 67 and 68 are arranged in the cover body 12, and both filters 60 and 61 are inserted into the case via the inserting holes 67 and 68, and a base part of both filters 60 and 61 is detachably installed in an inside edge part of the inserting holes 67 and 68.
