PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide parking equipment which dispenses with the equipment of each parking shelf with a traverse carriage, and which enables the delivery of a vehicle between an elevator and the parking shelf. SOLUTION: This parking equipment 1, which has the elevator 2 for making the vehicle ascend/descend so as to convey the vehicle to the parking shelf and a storage/retrieval floor, is equipped with a placing platform 10 which is detachably attached to a cage 11 of the elevator 2 and whereon the vehicle M is to be placed, a transfer device 15 which is arranged on the placing platform so as to transfer the vehicle sideways by supporting the vehicle from under it, and a loading base which is installed so as to be descendable to a position below the placing platform 10 on the storage/retrieval floor. The placing platform 10 is separated from the cage 11 on the storage/retrieval floor, and can be moved sideways between a position of the loading base and a first retracting position T, which is formed in the lateral direction thereof, in plan view.
