PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-reliability linear illuminant easily formed into a sharp linear shape, and to provide a high-reliability induction heating cooker capable of clearly indicating a heating range of a corresponding heating part by installing the linear illuminant in a peripheral part of an induction heating coil. SOLUTION: This induction heating cooker has the linear illuminants 10 each equipped with: a light guide body 12 having a light guiding cross section of a rectangle; and a light source 11 installed in the lengthwise direction of the guide body 12; and structured such that one side of a rectangle is used as a luminescent surface 14 for emitting light to the outside; and a light reflecting layer 13 is formed on a side facing to the luminescent surface 14. The light sources 11 are installed, by avoiding extensions in the circumferential directions of ferrite cores 25, between the extensions. Thereby, clear figures corresponding to induction heating coils 22 are drawn on a top plate, and influence of the ferrite cores 25 on the light sources 11 is restrained.
