TEST SUPPORT PROGRAM AND METHOD FOR SUPPORTING TEST

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically generate test specifications on the basis of design specifications whose format is not determined. SOLUTION: A test support device 1 acquires format specification indicating a position on which description data necessary for an operation test regulated in accordance with the format of a design manual is set at inputting a design manual file 21 stored in a storage part and generates a format information file 22 (step S1). Then the description data necessary for the operation test are extracted from the design manual file 21 on the basis of the format specification and test specifications for an application are generated by using the extracted description data (step S2). The generated test specifications are stored as a test specification file 23. The generated test specification file 23 is displayed and edited as necessary (step S3).
