<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress a dark current of each electronic apparatus comprising a ring-type network. <P>SOLUTION: The ring repeating trunk is equipped with: a plurality of optical/electric converting parts 21-24 for converting an optical signal inputted from each of electronic apparatuses A-C into an and outputting the electric signal to the optical/electric converting part, and for converting the electric signal inputted from another optical/electric converting part into an optical signal and outputting the optical signal to the corresponding electronic apparatus; a plurality of switch circuits 31-34 provided in electric signal input/output terminals of the optical/electric converting parts 21-24 and opened/closed for bypassing electric signals; and power supply parts 41-43 for supplying power to the electronic apparatuses A-C connected to the optical/electric converting parts 21-23.
