PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an interphone system for multiple dwelling with an automatic answering function capable of centralized management in which an automatically recorded message of a visitor from the outside inputted by a public entrance unit mounted on the outside of a public entrance door of a multiple dwelling house is recorded and a resident can reproduce the message later at suitable time. SOLUTION: The interphone system for multiple dwelling is equipped with a house information board 20 provided for each house within the multiple dwelling, a public entrance unit 10 for calling the house information board of a desired house, and a call control apparatus 40 connected to each of house information boards and the public entrance unit for controlling a call between them, an input means is provided for inputting a message to the public entrance unit, and a recording apparatus is provided for recording the message from the input means.
