PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a media supply capable of not only providing advantage of the media supply of a cartridge or a bin but also enabling access to stored media without removing the media supply from an imaging device by a user, and an imaging system. SOLUTION: The media supply is provided for use in the imaging device having an entry port. The media supply has a housing for defining a media storage area for holding the media, an opening part for receiving the media, and a fitting surface of the device shaped to insert into the entry port. The surrounding of the media is attached to the housing and can move between an opening position where the media storage area can access by the opening part and a closed position where the opening part is closed. When the fitting surface is inserted into the entry port, the media storage area, the surrounding of the media, and the fitting surface are arranged so that the surrounding of the media can move between the closed position and the opening position.
