摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air bag module capable of controlling the inner pressure in the initial period of air bag inflation using a tethering member installed at a gas exhaust hole. SOLUTION: The air bag module includes an air bag 12 to be inflated with an inflating fluid and a supporting member 20 which has a first exhaust hole opening 44 to enable the fluid to flow out of the air bag 12. An exhaust hole member 46 can take two conditions relative to the first exhaust hole opening 44, the first condition does not shut the opening and the fluid can flow out of the air bag and the second condition in which the exhaust hole member shuts at least partially the flow of the fluid flowing out of the air bag through the opening. A tying cord 50 has a first portion 52 connected with the air bag so as to move together when the air bag is deployed. The tying cord is coupled with the exhaust hole member 46 and moves the exhaust hole member from the first condition to the second relative to the opening 44 when the air bag is to deployed.
