摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refractory which is excellent in corrosion resistance, coating adhesion and spalling resistance when it is in contact with slag or a cement raw material having a high ratio of CaO to SiO<SB>2</SB>at a high temperature and which does not contain chromium. <P>SOLUTION: Magnesia-alumina-based clinker is used as at least a part of raw materials for the refractory. The main chemical components of the magnesia-alumina-based clinker consist of MgO, Al<SB>2</SB>O<SB>3</SB>, CaO and ZrO<SB>2</SB>. The total content of the four components is 95 wt% or more and ZrO<SB>2</SB>content is 0.5-20 wt%. CaO/ZrO<SB>2</SB>as a molar ratio is 0.1-1.1 and MgO/Al<SB>2</SB>O<SB>3</SB>as a molar ratio is 1 or more. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
