<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an overprinting device of a printing machine, which enables automatic registering at the start of overprinting, and which can suppress a good deal of paper waste and a loss of time. <P>SOLUTION: This overprinting device of the printing machine is equipped with a DSP part 21 for synchronously driving plate-cylinder driving motors of a plurality of printing units. In the overprinting device, at the start of the overprinting, after the adjustment of initial phases among respective plate cylinders of the printing units, a phase between a signal of a pattern of a web or a register mark position, which is detected by a mark sensor 29, and a signal of a rotational position of the plate cylinder is predetermined as a plate-cylinder phase correction angle from the length of the plate cylinder and a distance between an inputted plate cylinder/impression cylinder contact part and the mark sensor 29 by the DSP part 21; and a change of a plate-cylinder driving speed makes a plate-cylinder phase changed by the plate-cylinder phase correction angle with respect to the signal of the pattern or the register mark position. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
