PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power transmission device for easily preventing friction between a first transmission member and a second transmission member. SOLUTION: A plate 21A as a first plate 106 or a second plate 107, arranged at the top end, is placed between the first transmission member 20 and the second transmission member 30, therefor preventing direct contact between the first transmission member 20 and the second transmission member 30. Thus, the plate 21A having a Vickers hardness of 400 or more, arranged at the end, is used as an original shearing force transmission member and operated as a contact preventing member between the first transmission member 20 and the second transmission member 30, easily preventing chipping due to friction between both transmission members 20, 30 without increasing new members, in particular.
