<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical integrated unit in which such trouble can be prevented easily that an erroneous detection is undesirebly caused, and an optical pickup device provided with the same. <P>SOLUTION: A light receiving plane 36 of a light receiving part 25 is divided into one side of light receiving region 38a and the other light receiving region 38b concerning a virtual one flat plane 37, and also, the one side of light receiving region 38a is divided into first, third, and fifth light receiving region parts 41, 43, 45, the other side light receiving region 38b is divided into second, fourth, and sixth light receiving region parts 42, 44, 46. First to third diffraction planes 31a-31b of hologram 31 guide a laser beam to the first to the sixth light receiving region parts 41-46. An optical element 32 is provided between the light receiving part 25 and the hologram 31 so that the element 32 transmits one part La1 of diffraction light diffracted by the first diffraction plane 31a of the hologram 31, guides it to the first light receiving region part 41 in the one side of light receiving region 38a, and transmits one part Lb2 of diffraction light diffracted by the second diffraction plane 31b, guides it to the fourth light receiving region part 44 in the other side of light receiving region 38b. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
