<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operation management system capable of reducing a cost burden on a user, and allowing a maker to accurately and timely grasp a machine operation state of a user side. <P>SOLUTION: In this operation management system 1, a management device 20 of the maker side of a machine tool 15, an operation data storage/transmission device 10 connected to a numerical control part of the machine tool 15, and a terminal device 30 of the user side are connected to each other via the Internet 5. The operation data storage/transmission device 10 collects data on the operation state of the machine tool 15 from the numerical control part and stores the data, and transmits the stored operation state data to the management device 20 by a data format of an electronic mail when prescribed transmission conditions are satisfied.
