<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method easily and accurately adjusting the weight of a golf club head and manufacturing a high-performance golf club head at low cost. <P>SOLUTION: This golf club head 10 is provided with a head body 11 and a face member 12 and its weight is adjusted after joining them together. The weight is adjusted by cutting a thick wall part 23 integrally provided with the head body 11. The thick wall part 23 comprises a projecting strip.
