PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce capabilities that collisions of data transmitted from a plurality of devices are generated while the throughput of the whole system is maintained. SOLUTION: A carrier sense time duration determining part 102 determines time duration (first time duration) for executing carrier sense by a carrier sense execution part 114 and outputs a carrier sense indication signal for executing carrier sense in the first time duration to the carrier sense execution part 114. In accordance with the carrier sense indication signal, the carrier sense execution part 114 executes carrier sense in the first time duration by using a nondirectional antenna 110 and does not execute carrier sense in second time duration except the first time duration. In accordance with the carrier sense indication signal, a data transceiver part 112 executes transceiver processing of data in the second time duration by using a directional antenna 108 and does not executes transceiver processing of data in the first time duration.
