<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a homodyne type pulse radar apparatus in which no null points incapable of detecting a reflection signal from a target occur. <P>SOLUTION: A signal from a transmission high frequency oscillator 12 is converted by ASK (Amplitude Shift Keying) by a high-speed rectangular wave signal of a high-speed rectangular wave OSC 14 and outputted. The high-speed rectangular wave signal is delayed by gates 19 and 21 to acquire a gating signal and AND. The delay time of the gating signal having the highest level of its output value is taken as the delay time of a reception signal. On the basis of the delay time, the distance to the target is computed. By combining a low-speed rectangular signal with a high-speed rectangular signal, interference from other devices is prevented. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
