PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bearing device with a resin pulley, having a lighter weight and lower manufacturing cost without causing resin cracking of the resin pulley during the operation of the bearing device with the resin pulley. SOLUTION: The bearing device with the resin pulley comprises an outer ring 1 and the phenol resin pulley 7 arranged on the outer periphery of the outer ring 1 and formed integrally therewith. A relationship 0.05<t/B<0.2 is set, where B is the axial width of a first cylindrical portion 10 of the phenol resin pulley 7 and t is the radial thickness of the first cylindrical portion 10 in the bottom of a belt mounting groove 15 of the first cylindrical portion 10 for the phenol resin pulley 7. Thus, the strength of the phenol resin pulley 7 is greater than the belt rupture strength of a standard rubber belt and the mass of the phenol resin pulley 7 is smaller. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
