Vehicle priority managing method for e.g. crossroad, involves measuring and storing duration between beginning of green light and moment of vehicle passage, processing data statistically and displaying result

The method involves detecting vehicle arrival at preset position upstream from a crossroad, and triggering green light at preset time after detection of vehicle. Duration between the beginning of the green light and moment of vehicle passage is measured. The duration and/or instant of beginning of the green light, as well as instant of passage, are stored. The stored data are processed statistically and the result is displayed. An independent claim is also included for a device for managing priority of vehicles in an urban transport system.
