PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a security management system and a security management method which reduces the cost without the need for arranging a manager in a building.

SOLUTION: The security management system and security management method are characterized in that personal identifying information detected in a building and registered personal identifying data are compared with each other to perform personal authorization. These pieces of the personal identifying data are managed at a place distant from the building in terms of registration, change and deletion of the data, and the like, and transmitted from the outside of the building to the inside thereof.
