PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To minimize time required for cutting a sheet. SOLUTION: The cutter 25 is provided with a fixed edge 26 cutting the sheet S in a width direction, a moving edge 28 cooperating with the fixed edge 26, a holder 29 supporting the moving edge 28, a clutch 30 supported by the holder 29, a timing belt 31 engaging with the clutch 30 to move the holder 29 in the width direction of the sheet S, and a stopper 32 with which the holder 29 moved by the timing belt collides. The clutch 30 has a first engaging state engaging with a teeth 31a, of the timing belt 31 teeth, moving in a first direction, and a second engaging state engaging with a teeth 31b moving in a second direction opposite to the first direction. The engaging state of the clutch 30 is switched when the holder 29 collides with the stopper 32.
