PURPOSE: A tube-type sealing material sealing material and its preparation method are provided, to obtain a sealing material which is not effervescent, has suitably low ductility and malleability and can maintain solidity even when charged between the components of structure. CONSTITUTION: The tube-type sealing material comprises a cylindrical or polygonal tube(2) which comprises a thermoplastic synthetic resin and has a hollow(1); and a cohesive and adhesive sealant(3) which is coated on the surface of the tube uniformly. Preferably the thermoplastic synthetic resin is selected from the group consisting of a poly(vinyl chloride) (PVC) resin, a polyethylene (PE) resin, a polypropylene (PP) resin, a polyacryl resin, a poly(vinyl acetate) (PVA) resin, a polystyrene (PS) resin, an acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene (ABS) resin, a polyamide resin and a polycarbonate resin.
