a digital camera unit; at least one processor, and at least one memory storing program instructions that, when executed by the at least one processor, cause the apparatus to: receive a plurality of image frames captured by the digital camera unit; determine a condition being met requiring a switch between image capture states; and in response, disable automatic adjustment of at least one image capture parameter without user input.
