PURPOSE: To provide a protective-breathing apparatus for removing tritium, which removes the tritium efficiently without using ice. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus comprises a mask (10) that is able to cover a nose and a lip of a wearer and has air holes (15) capable of introducing air to the nose and lip in accordance with breathing of the wearer, a collecting case (22) that includes a collecting chamber having an air inlet (29a) and an air outlet (29b), a thermoelectric semiconductor that condenses moisture of air in the collecting chamber to collect tritium therein and has a plurality of condensation plates extending to the collecting chamber, a condensate receiver (40) that is received in the collecting chamber to receive condensate falling down from the condensate plate and a connection hose (70) that connects the air outlet to the air holes of the mask.
