PURPOSE: A sheet feeding apparatus and an image forming apparatus having the same are provided to improve the visibility of a manual moving member by arranging the manual moving member on the upper side of a sheet loading surface of a sheet loading element. CONSTITUTION: A sheet loading element(4a) supports a sheet. A sheet feeding element(2) feeds the sheet load in the sheet loading element. A manual moving member(8) selectively moves the sheet loaded in the sheet loading element to a first position pressure-contacting with the sheet feeding element or to a second position separating the loaded sheets from the sheet feeding element. The manual moving member is arranged on a sheet loading part of the sheet loading element in direction orthogonal to sheet feeding direction. The manual moving member is enlarged by being arranged over side regulating plates(6) and a tray(4).
