REFRIGERATOR DEFROSTING EVAPORATOR AND DRAIN PLATE EFFICIENTLY AND QUICKLY

PURPOSE: A refrigerator is provided to defrost an evaporator and a drain plate efficiently and quickly by a defrosting heater, and to concentrate defrosting heat with the zigzag structure of the sub heater. CONSTITUTION: A refrigerator is composed of an evaporator(20) generating cold air; a drain plate(30) installed in the lower part of the evaporator to guide defrosting water from the evaporator; a main heater removing frost from the upper part and the center of the evaporator; and a sub heater(50) eliminating frost in the lower part of the evaporator and the drain plate, and preventing freezing of defrosting water. The sub heater is composed of a zigzag upper heater(52) removing frost from the lower part of the evaporator, and a lower heater(54) integrally connected to the upper heater to remove frost around the drain plate.
