PURPOSE: A method for controlling turning-on reservation in a TV is provided to allow a user to release turning-on reservation temporarily. CONSTITUTION: A timer of a TV system is set up from broadcasting guide information transmitted from a broadcasting station(301). If a date and a day to temporarily release turning-on reservation are set up by a user, a release list is written(302). If a turning-on reservation time set by the user arrives(303), the turning-on reservation temporal release date and day which exists in the release list is compared with a current date and day(304,305). If the turning-on reservation temporal release date and day is identical to the current date and day, a turning-on reservation function is not operated(306,307). If the turning-on reservation temporal release date and day is identical to the current date and day, the turning-on reservation function is operated(308). |
