The system has two speed sensors (3,4) respectively mounted on an accelerator pedal (1) and a brake pedal (2). A calculator (5) connected to the two sensors, directs a speed of movement of a foot on the accelerator pedal and a time of movement of the foot from the accelerator pedal to the brake pedal, to a braking system (6). The system (6) carries out an emergency braking.
