<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coping connecting member which enables a connection between copings through simple operations without making connection work to a butt end surface of the coping. <P>SOLUTION: This coping connecting member 10 for use in the connection between the two copings a and b to be constructed in directions different from each other at a prescribed angle comprises a first side-surface fitting-in groove part 12 whose bottom surface is a first butt surface 11 butting against the butt end surface of one coping, and a second side-surface fitting-in groove part 14 whose bottom surface is a second butt surface 13 butting against the butt end surface of the other coping. The first and second butt surfaces, which are provided by forming an angle almost identical with the prescribed angle of the connection between the copings, have an outer peripheral part 15 which presents an almost arc-shaped cross-section curved surface. The coping connecting member can also be constituted as a separated structure type which comprises a main body (21) with the first and second side-surface fitting-in groove parts and the outer peripheral part, and a pair of end covering members (30) to be detachably joined to both ends of the main body. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
