SOLVENT FOR HYDROPHOBIC ANTICORROSIVE, ANTICORROSIVE COMPOSITION, AND ANTICORROSION TREATMENT METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solvent for a hydrophobic anticorrosive free from problems as for environmental properties, a sanitary phase, safety or the like, to provide an anticorrosive composition obtained by using the same, and to provide an anticorrosion treatment method using the composition. SOLUTION: The solvent for a hydrophobic anticorrosive consists of: a 50 to 99.9 wt.% water soluble organic solvent having a boiling point of≤250°C and consisting of glycols expressed by the general formula 1 (wherein, R1is a 1 to 4C lower alkyl group; R2is a methyl group or a hydrogen atom; n is an integer of 1 to 3) or a mixture of the glycols and hydrophilic alcohol or/and hydrophobic alcohol; and 50 to 0.1 wt.% water. The anticorrosive composition comprises the solvent for a hydrophobic anticorrosive and a hydrophobic anticorrosive dissolved into the solvent.
