PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide always correct work defective data even when partially removing a winding material by manual work. SOLUTION: A position of the winding material of the total length of 400 m is indicated on an image screen by belt-like display columns 62 and 63. Information for indicating a work position of the winding material at respective times is inputted from a production machine for performing a work process to this winding material, and a present time work position is displayed on the display column 62 as an index 71. Information on a work defective on the winding material is inputted from an operator, and a defective part position is displayed on the display column 63 as a deflective position display 77, and information on a defective position is controlled on a host computer. When performing treatment for removing a damaged part by manual work since a part of the winding material is damaged, the length of the material removed on the winding material is inputted to the host computer, and data on the defective position on the winding material is corrected on the basis of this length.
