PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem wherein the fixation of a spacer is lost or the mounting position of the spacer is displaced by deformation of a panel board. SOLUTION: This flat display device is structurally provided with a first panel board having a strip-like spacer mounting region E1 for mounting the spacers, using the center part in the longitudinal direction of the mounting region E1 as a spacer fixing region E2 to form a plurality of locking projections 8A and 8B, and using both of its sides as spacer guide regions E3 to form a plurality of guide projections 9A and 9B; and a second panel board stuck to the first panel board through the thin plate-like spacers 6.
