PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a side ditch unit having antibacterial which hardly allows adhesion of solidified grease and other impurities to the inside surface of the side ditch unit and permits easy, simply removal of them. SOLUTION: The side ditch unit comprises a tank body equipped with an inlet and an outlet and a lid body covering the upper part of the tank body, and the surface coming into contact with waste-water inside the side ditch unit is coated with a hydrophilic coating.
