<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a menu guidance system, simply operated to be convenient to a user. <P>SOLUTION: This menu guidance system uses a food substitution table in which food is classified into two or more items according to the nutrient. The system includes: a means for registering data on an input user; a means for determining the corpulent state of the user from the registered user data and calculating the total energy amount to be taken in a day by the user from the corpulent state of the user and the data of the other users; and a means for converting the total energy amount to be taken in a day by the user to a unit number by taking the consumed energy amount of a predetermined kilo-calorie as one unit. Further the system includes: a means for allocating the total energy amount to be taken in a day by the user, which is converted to a unit number to the respective groups of the food substitution table; a means for allocating the allocated energy amount to user' respective meals in a day; and a means for displaying the energy amount to be taken in a day by the user, which is allocated to the respective groups of the food substitution table and the energy amount alloted to the user' s respective meals in a day. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
