PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide architecture for presenting web content modularizing various components of contents. SOLUTION: A wire frame defines a spatial regions (slot) of a page of content. A view defines a mapping or binding between the slots in a wire frame and an object generating content. A rendering engine fills the slot with the content based on the object bound to the slots. The slots can be bound to controls, expansible style sheet language XSL tags, or other views. The control is executable or interpretable code for generating content filling the slot.
