<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a driver to safely input characters by shortening a time when the driver gazes at a screen. <P>SOLUTION: A speech recognition device 12 recognizes and converts a speech inputted from a speech input device 11 into character corresponding to a recognition result, displays the converted characters on an auxiliary display device 16 together with a character input palette where a plurality of characters are displayed and characters selected out of the plurality of characters are inputted, one by one, selectively displays characters on the character input palette corresponding to the characters converted by a speech recognizing means, and changes the selective display to only characters having the same vowel at a correction request, thereby determining the selectively displayed characters. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
