PURPOSE: A method for controlling two image sensors within one handset is provided to enable a user to selectively use one of two image sensors comprised in one handset through one DSP(Digital Signal Processor), so that the user can photograph an image while directly seeing other party and a self image. CONSTITUTION: A system receives a driving request for an image sensor comprised in a handset from a user(201). A handset operation processor checks whether the image sensor is designated by the user(202). If so, the handset operation processor perceives the image sensor to be driven(203). If the image sensor is not designated, the handset operation processor decides whether a slide open is to be sensed(204). If not, the processor perceives a basic image sensor(205). If the slide open is to be sensed, the processor checks whether the slide open is sensed(206). If so, the processor perceives the image sensor designated to be driven in the slide open state(207). If a slide is closed, the processor perceives the image sensor designated to be driven in the slide close state(208).
