<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an offline debit settlement method that can complete offline debit settlement by a single personal identification number entering operation unless a condition of transaction rejection is met. <P>SOLUTION: The offline debit settlement method comprises a step of determining whether an amount of payment exceeds an amount of electronic money stored in an IC card, and if it is exceeded, selecting an electronic bill application loaded in the IC card from a store terminal, and a step of settling the transaction by communication between the selected electronic bill application and the store terminal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
