PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the responsiveness of a switching power supply device which is connected to a plurality of DC-DC converter circuits in series. SOLUTION: This switching power supply unit comprises the plurality of insulated type first DC-DC converter circuits 10 connected in parallel; and non-insulation type second DC-DC converter circuits 20, which are cascade connected to each of the first DC-DC converter circuits 10 in common. The first DC-DC converter circuits 10 comprise a function for continuously transmitting the power from the primary side to the secondary side of each of transformers. Each of the second DC-DC converter circuits 20 comprises the function for stabilizing an output voltage. Therefore, high responsiveness can be attained by increasing a control gain to the high frequency area, and high conversion efficiency can also be obtained. The plurality of first DC-DC converter circuits 10 are connected in parallel, thus the maximum output current can easily be increased and high responsiveness can be obtained.
