PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide communication equipment such as a telephone set having a plurality of recognition numbers such as telephone numbers of its own station so as to be capable of optionally selecting the recognition number of its own station on which charges are imposed. SOLUTION: The communication equipment is provided with: a telephone number storage section (4) for storing a plurality of telephone numbers of its own station registered in advance in a base station; a data communication section (5) for dialing a telephone number of an optional opposite station; and a key entry section (7) for selecting any telephone number among a plurality of the telephone numbers of its own station stored in the telephone number storage section (4), and the communication apparatus establishes communication connection by making the data communication section (5) inform the base station about telephone number data selected by the key entry section (7) from a plurality of the telephone numbers stored in the telephone number storage section (4).
