PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a two-point contact type ball screw capable of easily measuring a space in the axial direction with excellent accuracy and demonstrating the characteristic of the two-point contact type to a maximum. SOLUTION: A Gothic arc groove is employed for ball rolling grooves (5 and 6) of a screw shaft (2) and a nut (3), and the pressure is applied to realize the two-point contact type of a ball (4) with a track (7). In this condition, the space in the axial direction before applying the pressure to the ball (4) and the track (7) is set to be in a range of≥0.5% Dw and≤5% Dw, where Dw is the diameter of the ball, and the radius of curvature of the arc of the Gothic arc groove is set to be in a range of≥52% Dw and≤60% Dw.
