A method of easily detecting phosphorylated peptides (proteins) from a biological sample, etc.; a method of selective adsorption therefor; and a compound which exhibits high capability of coordination linkage with phosphorylated peptides to thereby enable use in the methods. The compound i s represented by the formula (I): wherein X is a linkage group and Y a labelin g group. The compound (I) has high capability of coordination linkage with phosphorylated peptides and has a labeling group, so that phosphorylated peptides can be easily identified by the use thereof.
