FILLER FOR CHROMATOGRAPHY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filler for chromatography on which protein and polypeptide are adsorbed very little even though the filler is slightly charged and which has a very high separation capacity according to differences not only in the molecular weight but also in the hydrophobicity and isoelectric point of the protein and polypeptide. SOLUTION: The filler for chromatography has a phosphorylcholine group shown in formula 2 and chemically bonded directly on the surface of a carrier.
