<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a router for detecting address collision at high speed in an automatic address setting system using IPv6, and to provide a communication apparatus, a network address management system, a network address managing method, and a network address management program. <P>SOLUTION: The network address management system 100 is provided with a router 10, an address information storage device 16, a first communication apparatus 4, and a second communication apparatus 5. The router 10 is provided with a second connection request receiving means 15c, a second predicting means 15d, and a judging means 15e etc. The means 15c receives connection information such as an MAC address of the apparatus 5, the means 15d predicts an address from the connection information, and the means 15e judges whether or not the address is unique.
