PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an immersion nozzle with which even in the case of using this nozzle for long time, a sliding surface at the upper part of the immersion nozzle is not oxidized and the immersion nozzle and an intermediate nozzle are not stuck caused by sticking of skull and the sliding of the intermediate nozzle is surely performed. SOLUTION: This immersion nozzle is composed of any one or more of mixture among alumina quality, zirconia quality, magnesia quality and alumina/carbon quality on the sliding surface abutted on the lower surface of the intermediate nozzle 12, and a high erosion resistant refractory 5 arranging a molten metal flowing hole 6, is fitted.
