METHOD OF SELECTING FUNCTIONAL FACTOR FOR IDENTIFYING GENE

It is intended to provide a method by which a probe serving as a functional factor for specifying a gene can be efficiently narrowed down and specified. Namely, a method of designing a candidate for an optimum functional factor in identifying a gene with the use of a computer, characterized by comprising: (a) the step of storing data of a plural number of functional factors acting on the above gene; (b) the step of receiving the function results of individual functional factors on the gene; and (c) the step of narrowing down a functional factor required in identifying the gene based on the functional results thus received.
