PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that individual frequency modulation circuits are required for reception and transmission.

SOLUTION: The output of a frequency modulation circuit 5 is connected to the other input of a receiving mixer 8, and at the time of reception, the frequency conversion circuit 5 generates a non-modulated output and a phase noise waveform of an oscillation signal outputted from the frequency conversion circuit 5 is switched in accordance with transmission or reception. Consequently a miniaturized digital transceiver sharing one frequency modulation circuit 5 can be provided.
