PURPOSE: A device and a method for offering the personal contact information using a code pattern are provided to compatibly utilize a usual portable terminal by using a camera installed to the usual portable terminal without using a barcode reader. CONSTITUTION: A code pattern generator(61) generates the code information matched with the user contact information received from a user terminal and generates a code pattern image matched with the code information. A code distributor(62) analyzes/classifies a service ID included in a user contact information request message into a service type corresponding to the service ID. A code information analyzer(65) extracts the user contact information by analyzing the code information received from the code distributor. A transmitting/receiving part(66) transmits the code pattern to the user terminal by receiving a code pattern request message and transmits the personal contact information to the user terminal by receiving the user contact information request message. A code information database manager(67) manages a code information database storing the personal contact information matched with the code information.
