摘要 PURPOSE: A liquid crystal display device and a method for driving the same are provided to rapidly implement the response time of TFT-LCD using the normal liquid crystal without depending on the over shoot and the under shoot. CONSTITUTION: A liquid crystal display device includes a data storage device(100), a look-up table(200), a controller(300) and a liquid crystal driving device(400). The data storage device(100) stores the present input data and outputs the stored present input data as a previous input data. The look-up table(200) stores the corrected present input data and the corrected previous input data. The controller(300) generates a first and a second load signals, stores the present input data on the data storage device(100), reads the previous input data from the data storage device(100), calculates the average value based on the corrected previous input data and outputs the calculated average value as the precharge data. And, the liquid crystal driving device(400) converts the precharge data into an analog signal and generates the liquid crystal driving signal based on the converted analog signal in response to the first and the second load signals.
