PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the rotational stability of a crankshaft in a multicylinder compressor. SOLUTION: In this multicylinder compressor, a crankpin 8a is eccentrically rotated by the rotation of the crankshaft 8, and pistons of a plurality of compression parts are reciprocated in cylinders through yokes 5, 6 engaged with the crankpin 8a, to compress gas. The upper end part of the crankshaft 8 is journaled by an auxiliary bearing part 10, and the intermediate part is journaled by a main bearing part 12. In this constitution, the lower end of the crankshaft 8 rotatably fitted to a rotor 7b of a motor 7 is extended downward from the rotor 7b, and its end part is journaled by a lower end bearing part 13. The lower end bearing part 13 is mounted to a bottom bearing plate 15 fixed to the lower part of the multicylinder compressor. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
